What to Expect
The Aggieland Stampede isn’t just any rodeo—it’s a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) sanctioned event, ensuring top-tier competition and entertainment. Partnering with the renowned Andrews Rodeo Company, attendees can anticipate a showcase of both PRCA and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) World Champions.
Featured Events:
- Mutton Bustin’: Watch as young cowboys and cowgirls (ages 4-7, under 55 lbs) hold on tight for eight thrilling seconds. An entry fee of $25 includes tickets for one adult and one child. Winners are selected and notified by March 7th, with eight competitors each night vying for a coveted rodeo belt buckle.
- Calf Scramble: Kids under 12 can join the arena fun, racing to grab a ribbon off a calf’s tail. It’s a high-energy event filled with laughter and cheers.
- Kids Corral: Designed for children 7 and under, this area offers rodeo-themed games and activities before the main event. Parents must accompany their children at all times.
