Bryan Aquatic Center β A full-service aquatic facility with lap lanes, leisure pools, and a water slide. Great for families and serious swimmers alike. π More Info
Henderson Harbor β Bryan’s outdoor waterpark option with slides and splash features. π More Info
Splash Pads (Free!) β Tanglewood Park, Tiffany Park, and Gloria Stephan Sale Park all have free splash pads, perfect for younger kids on a hot afternoon. Check the city website for hours and seasonal schedules. π More Info
Castlegate II Aquatic Center β College Station’s neighborhood aquatic option on the south side of town. π More Info
The Cove at BearX β This one’s for the adults. The Cove is an 18+ members-only pool complex in College Station featuring a surf rider and a lazy river. If you’re looking for a grown-up pool day without the chaos, this is your spot. Β π More Info
Lake Bryan β Open daily 9AMβ10PM, Lake Bryan is the anchor of any real BCS summer. Hiking and biking trails, fishing, boating, and campsites if you want to make a full weekend of it. π More Info

Get Outside Early (Before the Heat Wins)

Lake Walk Run Club β Every Friday morning at 6:30AM. Free, friendly, and a great way to meet people if you’re new to town or just passing through for a while. π More Info
Community Yoga β Every Saturday at 8AM. Outdoor yoga before the weekend heats up is hard to argue with. π More Info
Brazos County Arboretum & Demonstration Idea Garden (DIG) β Free and open daily at 2619 W Highway 21 in Bryan. The Master Gardeners maintain this gem featuring plants and trees that actually thrive in Brazos County’s climate. A peaceful morning walk that also happens to be educational. π More Info
Travis Bryan Midtown Park β The multi-use trail, open green spaces, and festival grounds make Midtown a good early morning destination any day of the week. Cooler in the mornings, and there’s always something going on. π More Info
Beat the Heat Indoors
When it’s 98 degrees and climbing, air conditioning is a love language.
Grand Station Entertainment β Bowling, laser tag, mini golf, arcade, VR gaming, and a full bar and restaurant. The largest entertainment venue in BCS. Open daily in College Station. π More Info
Urban Air Trampoline & Adventure Park β Way more than trampolines. Ropes courses, climbing walls, a warrior course, dodgeball, and a dedicated section for younger kids. Located at 1758 Briarcrest Drive in Bryan. π More Info
