The Texas Junior Charolais Association State Show runs May 29–June 1, 2026 at the Brazos County Expo Complex (5827 Leonard Rd, Bryan, TX 77807). Whether you’re an exhibitor hauling cattle or a family member coming to cheer, you’ve got a few solid lodging options close to the action.
On-Site RV Hookups at the Expo
If you want to be right there on the grounds, the Brazos County Expo offers RV hookups for $30/night. Sites include water and electricity, and there’s a dump station at the rear of the property. There’s no advance reservation; spots are first-come, first-served, so check in with the Expo staff when you arrive.

Hotel: The Stella
The Stella Hotel (4100 Lake Atlas Drive, Bryan, TX) has a group rate for TJCA attendees: $149–$169/night. You’ll need to book through the group link on the TJCA State Show page — the deadline to lock in that rate is May 6, 2026.
Stay Close Without Staying on the Grounds
If you’re coming to cheer on a junior exhibitor rather than haul cattle yourself, those on-site spots are better left for the exhibitors who need them. Most are hauling stock trailers and living quarters rigs and using every inch of that space. Galloping Snail RV Park is 1.1 miles from the front door of the Expo Complex, close enough to walk if you’re feeling it, and a lot more comfortable than squeezing in next to the livestock.
We are a smaller park (48 back-in spots, 20 pull-throughs), which means you’re not fighting for space in a sea of rigs. Nightly rate is $55, or $240/week for those staying the full run of the show. And after the dust settles, there’s nothing like a hot shower in one of our private shower suites to wash off the day and sleep like you earned it.
